    Weaving — Omi, Shiga

    Hand-kneading and air-drying create a soft, airy texture. Each piece is finished individually to preserve the character of the fabric.

  • An artisan dyeing fabric with the Yuzen technique in a Kyoto workshop

    Dyeing — Kyoto

    Yuzen artisans layer color by brush, creating organic diffusion and movement. Each piece has a depth that printing cannot reproduce.
