Position the rings slightly below your collarbone.
Hold your baby as if you were holding him/her over your shoulder to burp and slide the baby inside of the pouch.
Open the baby’s legs and put the baby’s buttocks in the pouch straddling over your hipbone.
Make sure that the baby’s buttocks is lower than both knees. This position secures the baby’s body and prevents sliding. (The baby’s legs must not be straight.)
If you feel distant from your baby, adjust by pulling the tail with your left hand while you lift the baby up slightly.
Make sure that the position of the legs is an M shape, that the fabric covers the baby’s body from the back of knees to the shoulders.
