FAQ

Q : What about size?

A : We offer one size baby sling at both our retail and online shop. The regular slings fit most people, both mothers (up to around 175cm/5'7" & 65kg/143lbs.) and fathers because even if father is larger, he doesn't need the longer tail for breastfeeding cover.
Our slings can be adjusted to fit wearers and babies. If you are petite the tail may be a little longer, and if you are tall the tail may be a little shorter, If the tail has enough length (at least 12in./30cm) hanging beyond the ring, thereis no danger that the slips through the rings.
We provide made-to-order service accoring to circumstances, so any of the slings can be adapted to suit the customer's height and weight. Please contact us for a special order.

Q : is it light?

A : Yes, our slings are very light. Slings made of linedn weigh only 10.59oz. including rings, but can carry up to 39lbs (around 3 years old)!! That's why it's very portable. You can fold and put it in your purse, and bring it anywhere.

Q : What about thin padding on the shoulder?

A : Because baby carriers or slings need to hold a baby, ordinary baby slings tend to have big, thick shoulder pads. However, our shoulder pad is very thin because our sling structure is desinged to distribute the baby's weight across shoulder, back and hip for parents' comfort it is surprisingly comfortable on the shoulder.

Q : What can I do with the tail?

But again, its primary purpose is to provide a shield during breastfeeding. If you put its long tail on your shoulder, it becomes a "privacy screen" when you breast-feed.

You can also use it for sun-protection, wind-protection, AC-Protection, or as a blanket for a baby.

But when you don't want the tail to be dangling, you can just wrap it around the ring.

Q : How do I breast-feed my baby in my P-sling?

A : For breast-feeding, the cradle position is the best holding style. However, you can not simply breast-feed "hands free." You must raise your baby (with one hand) near your breast. With another hand, you can pull the edge of the pouch and guide a baby to the breast. When you get used to it, you can put a hand-towl under your breast, and adjust the position.

P-sling has a wide pouch so you cna completely shield your baby from the outside. Also you can use the tail for sun-protection, wind-protection, or to shiedl the breast from others when breast-feeding in public.

Q : For what baby age/weight should P-sling be used?

A : Any child from newborn to 3 years.
*Durability varies with the material.

*AVANT / Gradation Series - upto 39lbs.
*CATTINE Series - upto 35lbs.
*COLORS - upto 25lbs

Q : Is P-sling completely safe?

A : P-sling is manufactured in conformity with strict safety criteria including reinforced fabric, joint-less ring, and solid structure.

We use only material passing strict inspection and offer durable, high-strength material that can not untie accidentally. In addiion, our unique structure is lined with sewing techniques in hidden parts. Needless to say, there is no worry of the P-sling coming undone.

The pouch part (where a baby is held) is designed to snugly wrap a baby in fabric. And also, like a hammock, its structure aims to hold a baby securely and prevent a baby from falling out of the sling. That's why you can use P-sling for you and your baby with peace of mind.

Q : I want to know different variations of baby holding.

A : Following are major variations.

CRADLE

For a newborn baby whose head is not yet stable, a cradle psoition is deal.

NURSING

A nursing position is the most useful position once the baby's head becomes stable. This position allows a baby to see the world.

VERTICAL

A vertical position is for babies between one and two months, before their heads become stable.

HIP CARRY

A hip carry position is for older babies and toddlers (1-3 years old.)

Q : How do I wash my slings?

A : While the best method is hand-washing, P-sling is still machine-washable.
When you use a machine, put the sling in a laundry net and choose the delicate cycle. Please use a neutral detergent (one for delicate materials like silk.) Please do NOT use a dryer. Hang wet sling to dry. (It takes time to dry completely because of 8 layers of cloth on the shoulder portion.) Please be aware that cotton tends to discolor more than linen.

Q : Is it comfortable?

A : Our sling is designed to give the parent balanced back support and distributes the baby's weight across the shoulder, back, and hip for the parent's comfort. This structure allows parents to comfortably hold a baby for longer periods of time.

Q : Is it healthy for my shoulder and back?

A : Yes, you can share the same sling with your husband. The sling is adjustable for the size of all wearers. However, you need to be careful with the P-sling tail when your husband wears the sling.

Please make sure that there is enought tail (at least 30cm) hanging beyond the ring because there is the danger that a tail slips through the rings.

Q : How safe are the rings?

A : Our rings are join-less metallic. They are carefully created by a process of "melting-down" to make rings for sling use only. There is no need to worry about unnecessary slipping. When you put the baby's weight on the sling, the two rings lock together and grip the fabric securely. Therefore the ring part doesn't move.
Of course, we carefully selected metal ingredients and use anti-bacterial materials for the rings, so there is no possibility of mold or discoloration.
Every model of rings passes durability tests with more than 2,000kg.

Q : Is it possible to share a sling with my husband (he is much taller/bigger than me)?

A : Yes, you can share the same sling with your husband. The sling is adjustable for the size of all wearers. However, you need to be careful with the P-sling tail when your husband wears the sling.

Please make sure that there is enought tail (at least 30cm) hanging beyond the ring because there is the danger that a tail slips through the rings.

Q : How do I know whether is the Right shoulder type or Left?

A : Please check your p-sling before taking as this image.
